Poll: Americans Believe Obama ‘Improperly Surveilled’ Trump Campaign - Want Special Counsel
An IBD/TIPP poll shows “Americans overwhelmingly believe the Obama administration ‘improperly surveilled’ Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”
A clear majority of 55 percent believe it is “likely” that the Obama administration “improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.” That includes 31 percent of Democrats, 87 percent of Republicans, and 55 percent of Independents.
A clear majority of 54 percent want a special counsel to investigate “whether the FBI and the Department of Justice improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.” Only 44 percent said no. The partisan breakdown shows that 74 percent of Republicans and 50 percent of Independents want a special counsel — as do a full 44 percent of Democrats.
A just-released Rasmussen poll, however, shows that a full 50 percent of Americans “believe it’s at least somewhat likely senior federal law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency.” Only 40 percent disagree.
Another Rasmussen poll from this week shows that only 42 percent of Americans believe Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election more than the FBI. Moreover, a full 34 percent believe the FBI meddled more than the Russians, while 24 percent are unsure.
In other words, we now live in a country where 58 percent of Americans either believe our own FBI meddled in a presidential election more than a hostile foreign government, or are not sure the FBI did not.
Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rating is running ahead of former-President Obama’s at this point in his failed presidency.

FBI Missed Tons of Hillary's Classified Emails
Remember when Hillary claimed not to have sent emails on her private server that were marked classified ‘at the time they were sent?
That was a lie, but now we have proof and we also have proof that the FBI conveniently overlooked it.
The Inspector General has discovered among the text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page an interesting exchange in which Strzok wondered about the classified emails quite candidly, “If the FBI missed this, what else was missed?”
He continued, “It cuts against ‘I never sent or received anything marked classified’.”
The IG’s report will blow the whole thing open again.
One of the questions will be why they gave Hillary a pass on a criminal act she insisted she never committed.
The FBI didn’t flag that some emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server were marked classified with a “(C)” when they were sent — something that seemingly would have been one of the first and most obvious checks in an investigation, and one that FBI agents instantly recognized put the facts at odds with Clinton’s public statements.
The Intelligence Community Inspector General noticed it after the FBI missed it, texts between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, reveal. “Holy cow,” Strzok wrote, “if the FBI missed this, what else was missed?”
“Remind me to tell you to flag for Andy [redacted] emails we (actually ICIG) found that have portion marks (C) on a couple of paras. DoJ was Very Concerned about this,” he wrote.
“Found on the 30k [emails] provided to State originally. No one noticed. It cuts against ‘I never sent or received anything marked classified,’” he wrote, referring to statements by Clinton downplaying the danger of her email practices.

Judge Rules Against LGBT Activists in Suit Against Bake Shop Owner
A Christian bake shop owner has triumphed over LGBT activists in court, and to top it all off, it happened in California.
The case began in August of last year, when Christian baker Cathy Miller of Tastries Bakery refused to bake a wedding cake for Mireya and Eileen Rodriguez-Del Rio, a gay couple, according to The Bakersfield Californian.
The gay couple filed a complaint with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing accusing Miller of violating the Unruh Civil Rights Act, a state law that prohibits discrimination based on characteristics such as sexual orientation. The DFEH subsequently filed a suit against Miller.
On Monday, Kern County Superior Court Judge David Lampe sided with the Christian baker and against the DFEH and the gay couple. The ruling was a stirring defense of religious liberty.
“A wedding cake is not just a cake in a Free Speech analysis. It is an artistic expression by the person making it that is to be used traditionally as a centerpiece in the celebration of a marriage,” he said, as reported by the Bakersfield Californian. “There could not be a greater form of expressive conduct.”
Yet DFEH sought to “compel Miller against her will and religion to allow her artistic expression in celebration of marriage to be co-opted to promote the message desired by same-sex marital partners, and with which Miller disagrees,” he added.
Here’s the key, though, that differentiated this case from that of, as an example, a Christian baker refusing to sell an already baked cake to a gay couple: “(T)he cake in question is not yet baked.”
Here’s the key, though, that differentiated this case from that of, as an example, a Christian baker refusing to sell an already baked cake to a gay couple: “(T)he cake in question is not yet baked.”
Thus, DFEH wasn’t merely “petitioning the court to order” Miller to bake a cake — it was demanding that the court force her “to use her talents to design and create a cake she has not yet conceived with the knowledge that her work will be displayed in celebration of a marital union her religion forbids.”
“For this court to force such compliance would do violence to the essentials of Free Speech guaranteed under the First Amendment,” Lampe concluded.
Lampe further noted in his ruling, America’s legal system is obligated “to protect Free Speech, regardless of whose foot the shoe is on.”

New FBI Texts Suggest Obama’s Involvement in Hillary Email Investigation
Newly released text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page raise questions about the extent of President Barack Obama’s involvement in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s misuse of her private email server.
In a message dated Sept. 2, 2016 — just two months before Election Day — Page wrote to Strzok about getting then-FBI Director James Comey ready to brief Obama.
Page’s reasoning was that;
“potus wants to know everything we’re doing.”
The texts shed more light on the timing of Comey’s Oct. 28 announcement that the FBI was reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server misuse.
Just days before the election, Comey sent a letter to Congress explaining that the FBI had discovered more emails related to the Clinton case on former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner’s laptop.
One month before Comey announced the discovery of the new emails, Strzok suggested in a text to Page that the FBI already was aware of their existence.
“Got called up to (then-FBI Deputy director) Andy’s (McCabe) earlier.. hundreds of thousands of emails turned over by Weiner’s atty to sdny (Southern District of New York), includes a ton of material from spouse (Huma Abedin). Sending team up tomorrow to review… this will never end,” he wrote in a message dated Sept. 28.
“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday,” Comey said at the time.
