Despite The Best Efforts on the Left and News Media, Americans Still Proud To Be American

Despite the Left's continuous demonization of America, a new Rasmussen Reports poll found that 83% of Americans are proud to be an American. Just seven percent (7%) are not. The numbers have changed little in surveys for years. For Example, in 2018 the survey found that 85% were proud to be American and 9% were not. In 2014 86% said they were proud to be American and 4% were not.

Also, despite the Left's and the main stream news media's best efforts to criticize the National July 4th celebration hosted by President Trump, 73% of Americans share the President's view of America and the U.S. Military. 12% disagree.

It is obvious that neither the Left nor the main stream news media are listening or much less care about what the American people think of their country. They keep bashing America and her leadership in the free world, largely because they despise President Trump.

The Left and the main stream news media would do well to listen to a new internal Democrat poll released on Sunday showed that socialist Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who both openly despise America, are extremely unpopular and may cost the Democrats the presidency and the House in 2020.

“Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; only 22% had a favorable view,” Axios reported. “Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view.”

“Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%,” Axios added, whereas “capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable.”

A recent focus group of swing voters agreed with President Trump’s key immigration positions and his “America First” brand.

Not only did a majority of the respondents believe that Trump is “professionally and responsibly” managing the immigration crisis, but many of them also expressed outright disdain for immigration positions taken up by numerous Democratic presidential candidates. Namely, many respondents opposed the idea of giving free health care to illegal immigrants.
