Corporate Jet Slams Into N.J. Building
TETERBORO, N.J. - A corporate jet slammed into a building Wednesday after going off the runway at Teterboro Airport. A traffic helicopter pilot for New York radio station WCBS says it appears the plane went off the runway, broke through a fence, crossed a highway and slammed into the building. Television reports showed smoke billowing from the building and skid marks leading to the crash site. There was no immediate word on injuries. Route 46 closed in both directions and broadcast reports said the airport was closed. |
