54% No Health Care Reform Better Than Congress Plan

A new Rasmussen Reports poll found that most voters (54%) say no health care reform passed by Congress this year would be the better than the Congressional Plan.

Forty-five percent (45%) of voters think Pelosi and Hoyer are wrong when they say the passage of health care reform will mean more affordable coverage for all Americans.

Among voters who have health insurance, the majority (52%) says the plan, if passed, will not mean more patient choice, while 25% say it will.

As for the protesters at congressional town hall meetings that Pelosi and Hoyer label as "un-American", That Congressman Hill labled as "political terrorists", and that Harry Reid called "evil mongorers", 49% of voters say the protesters are expressing the views of their neighbors.

Voters overwhelmingly agree that the average congressman listens most to party leaders rather than the voters they represent by a 73% to 14% margin. ( And they wonder why the protesters are being vocal ?)

And, get this folks, despite complaints from the White House and top Democrats and Hollyweird, 51% of Americans had a positive opinion of the "tea parties" held across America on April 15.

Keep it up folks, your opposition to this socialized medicine plan is beginning to take hold.
